Text set in Caslon. One of 650 copies printed (in purple and black) on Zerkall paper, this being one of 615 copies sewn into printed wrappers with a repeat engraving tipped onto the front cover. A fine copy.

The wood-engravings are portraits of Bruce Mawdsley. An edition of forty copies of this book was produced at the artist's own Plum Tree Press in Autumn 1982.
