Monotype Plantin, redesigned for this edition, printed at the Westminster Press. This, one of 750 (790) copies printed on Dutch cream laid paper with the Nonesuch watermark. A total of 115 line illustrations appear in vol.I, and 85 in vol.II, all by E.McKnight Kauffer. All edges untrimmed; black endpapers, cased in quarter natural parchment with Italian printed paper sides, predominantly black, maroon and white, spine titled in gilt. Slight wear to corners. A very good to fine set.
