The Limited Editions Club 'Lavengro' was in Herbert Simon's opinion, the most successful collaboration between Barnett Freedman and Harold Curwen in the printing of auto-lithographs. George Macy echoed something of that sentiment in his statement: 'This is one of the ten finest books we have ever issued, and one of the ten least popular'.
