Illustrated throughout by A. Ferederics. Slate-blue cloth, titled in gilt on the spine, decorated and titled in black on upper board. Spine a bit faded, two neat ownership signatures. A very good copy.
The last three pages are advertisements; the front paste down advertises"Arrowsmith's 2/- series" With Address of 11 Quay St at the top, and rear pastedown shows the same address. The title page gives no street address. The 20 gatherings are each numbered, at the first page of the gathering, i.e. 2, with the next page having 2*. The numbering starts at number 2. Gilt titling to the spine along with the publisher's colophon, the front board being titled in black, with a black border, and a illustration in silhouette.
