Attractively printed in red and black with advertisements for display: Includes Finsbury Initials, Kennerley Initials, Old-Style initials, several scripts and rondes. The Caslon Borders and bands, Auriol Ornaments, Barabandy and Finbury Ornaments are noteworthy. Maroon cloth, titled and blocked in gilt with bevelled edges. A very good to fine copy.
Typefaces ‘introduced by the House of Caslon’ – such as the Cheltenham Family, Kennerley, Ratdolt, Cochin Open, the Nicolas Cochin Series, Le Cochin, are shown as is Wood-letter.
