Treyford (1928), was designed by Graily Hewitt in accordance with the principles laid down in 'The Pen and Type-Design'. It has the qualities of a script. In the lower case ascenders are shorter than descenders, v and w are given cursive forms and y a vertical stroke. The italic is slightly incline. The matrices were cut by the Monotype Corporation.
