The Council on 20th July, 1920, resolved, in pursuance of the Education Act, 1918, 1918, section 4 (2), to give public notice of its intention to submit this scheme to the Board of Education. Small folio, pp.112, folding plans, Printed for The London County Council by Harrison and Sons, London, 1920.

One of a few copies specially bound up in full morocco at the Central School in full gilt panelled morocco, five raised bands, titled in gilt all edges gilt. Rear turn-in stamped in gilt. Slight wear to extremities. Very good condition, somewhat in "Doves style".

Presentation copy, inscribed: "To Hubert J. Greenwood, in affectionate recollection of pleasant years of work, from H.J.M." With an A.L.S, 3p, 8vo, on LCC letterhead, 27th Oct. 1920, addressed to Hubert Greenwood from H.J. Mordaunt, saying "... I thought you would like, as Chairman of the committee to whose cooperation in the appointment of staff so much of the Council's success in education has been due, to have a copy of what, apart from its interest in binding, promises to be a landmark, perhaps I should more appropriately say bookmark! in education. I hope you will like the colour and design of the binding and think them good taste ..."
