Poems of that most Neglected Divine, Clement Paman. [With an Introducttion by Ann Sinnett.] Crown 8vo, pp.xiii[1], 126 + colophon, Printed at the Old Hall Press, Burton Salmon, for the Foundling Press, Tunbridge Wells, 2002.

One of 150 copies printed at the Old Hall Press in Monotype Garamond on Fabriano mould-made paper with the title-page in black and red. Decorated with typographic and woodcut ornaments. This, number V of X copies specially bound in full vellum, spine titled by hand in gilt. Fine in slipcase.

This first printed collection of Paman's poetry follows the Rawlinson manuscripts where possible. Paman (1612-63) was a contemporary of Davenant, Suckling, Crashaw and Lovelace though not, apparently, a member of the Cavalier circle. Like theirs, his work exhibits the strong influence of John Donne.
