Number 20 of 125 copies printed in red and black on hand made paper anddd signed by the author. Grey cloth-covered boards, titled in red, lacking dust-jacket. A very good copy.

Presentation incription from the author to Alfred Perlès, dated August 1960, and with Hugo Manning's 36-line poem 'Transcend' neatly written out by the author and signed by him in purple ink on the first blank leaf. Some carbons of Manng's poems are loosely inserted at the rear. Alfred Perlès is best known for his associations with Henry Miller, Lawrence Durrell, and Anaïs Nin.
