Folding frontispiece, title-page vignette, and upwards of 20 woodcuts by F.C. Bruce. All five pieces printed by George Brookman, Glasgow. Dark-green blindstamped cloth with gilt spine titing. Yellow glazed endpapers with nea ownership signature. A little wear to extremities, but overall a very good to fine copy.

Enjoyable reading. First published in 1838 - I suspect that this (certainly much rarer issue) consists of the same sheets bound up with a new title-page.
