One of 200 copies. Woodcut architectural border, full-page author's woodcut portrait, woodcut pictorial borders, decorative initials and calligraphic alphabets throughout. Quarter black morocco with gilt spine titling and beige cloth sides, the upper cover inset with a black cloth label stamped and lettered in gilt. A fine copy.

Juan de Yciar (born 1524) has been described as the founder and patriarch of Spanish calligraphy.
