Printed in Caslon on good quality wove paper. Portrait frontispiece and 15 other inserted plates. Holland-backed blue paper-covered boards with printed spine label and spare at rear. Review from the 'Glasgow Herald' pasted to front endpaper. Neat presentation inscription.. A very good bright copy.

The classic work on the Kelmscott Press. William Morris's 'Note on His Aims' with the attendant bibliography by S.C. Cockerell is reproduced in its entirety as an appendix.
