Harvesting Colour: The Year in a Marbler's Workshop, by Ann Muir. With an Introduction by Barry McKay. 4to, pp.96 + 12 folding specimens, Incline Press, Oldham, 2000.
Number 130 of 225 (250) copies printed in Baskerville type and signed by the author/artist. Illustrated within the text by the author and with 12 large folding specimens (each a third of a sheet) by her. Finely bound in a quality half blue cloth with a thirteenth Ann Muir marbled paper used as panels, blue-grey endpapers and spine gilt. Blue cloth slipcase with printed label. A fine copy.
Sadly with time, the smell of the seaweed used in the creation of the paper samples has faded in this book but, visually, they remain as astonishig as ever.
