Many inserted chromolithograph plates, some folding, frequently heightened with gold, all very much in the American style of 'artistic printing' with much use of fancy rules, etc. Quarter morocco with gilt spine titling, pebbled dark green cloth, blocked in gilt on the upper board, all edges marbled. Original wrappers bound in at the rear. A very good copy.
