Set in Bembo and Fairbank's italic and printed on a special making of Batchelor hand-made paper watermarked 'GG'. Each volume has 16 engravings designed by R.A. Maynard and H.W. Bray and cut on the wood by H.W. Bray. One of 475 sets bound in brown Sundour linen cloth blocked in gilt on the upper cover with a Press device and gilt spine titling. A fine set.
