Set in Caslon Old Face. One of 50 (950) copies (this not numbered) printed on Batchelor's Kelmscott paper. Occasional decorations from wooduts within the text. Specially bound in full limp vellum with gilt spine titling, upper cover deorated in gilt. Lacks green silk ties, else near fine. Ownership signature of Hugh Macdonald. (Tucker 4)

Ascribed. with other Elizabethan miscellanies, to John Bodenham, who probably projected the work and befriended the editor, the "A.B." (as yet unidentified) who signed the dedication and prefatory sonnet in the first edition. More recently ascribed to Nicholas Ling.
