Inserted is a typed letter ('This is frankly a touting letter') from Drummond Allison (1921-Dec.1943) asking the recipient (Brian Hutton) to purchase the book from Gertrude Allison, with another note from Gertrude Allison that Drummond Allison had died in December but that she would like him to have a book in his memory.
