One of about 450 (1,000) complete sets of English sheets bound up in 1916 in grey-green cloth boards embossed in blind with a reproduction of a green stone charm by Gaudier-Brzeska on the front cover (later issues lack this design), spine and upper boards titled in gilt, top edge stained grey-green. Lacks dust-jacket. A very good copy.
(Gallup A10) 1,000 sets of sheets were printed (of which 200 were used for the American issue, 100 were bound up in 1927-28, and 250 were re-issued by Laidlaw and Laidlaw in 1939).
